The "Friends of Cystic Fibrosis" started over 18 years ago and was known as "Ben's Dream Team". Named after Benjamin McGill the son of Kenneth and Kristen McGill of Pawtucket, Rhode Island. For many years the McGill's together with family and friends raised money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at different events in their hometown.

In 2005 "Ben's Dream Team" became "Friends of Cystic Fibrosis" and incorporated with the State of Rhode Island. We have been awarded 501(c)(3)  public charity status with the IRS.

The "Friends of Cystic Fibrosis" will continue to raise money for vital cystic fibrosis research as well as promote c.f. awarness.
